Hi, I’m Jeffery Ryan Smith (or just Ryan Smith)—first and foremost, a proud husband to Holly Smith and father to three amazing kids: Rylan, Addyson, and Ryder. Being a husband has many challenges but far more joys, especially when you have a spouse that is a solid rock. Being a family man is the greatest joy and responsibility of my life. Whether it’s cheering for Rylan on the sidelines or watching Ryder on the baseball field or basketball court, I’m all in. Every moment with them is a reminder of what really matters.

I also have the privilege of serving as an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God. I’m honored to be both the Student Pastor and Administrative Pastor at Living Light Church of God in Jasper, Alabama. Ministry is not just what I do—it’s who I am. I have a deep passion for leading young people in their faith, supporting the church behind the scenes, and walking alongside others in their spiritual journey.

By profession, I have worked in technology since 2008 and I recently made a move to a company call Moultrie. I have been in Technology Leadership since 2014 as a Software Engineering Manager, Senior Software Engineering Manager, and Director of Engineering for several years to build and lead high-performing development teams. I love solving problems, mentoring developers, and creating tools that make an impact. Tech is always evolving, and so am I.
